Atribuída pela Sociedade Portuguesa de Endocrinologia, em parceria com o laboratório Genzyme, esta bolsa visa apoiar a formação e a investigação, bem como estimular o estudo na área da Patologia da Tiróide.
É uma homenagem a um dos maiores nomes da Endocrinologia nacional, cujo empenho no Registo Oncológico em Portugal também é inquestionável.
